		<description>I think the movie did a good job of addressing the British retreat part of the book. I found that part of the book to be my least favorite and way too descriptive.  I ended up skipping much of it and I didn't lose any understanding of the overall story.  I agree that that part of the movie waned a bit, but the director did a good job working it in and not dragging it out.

In my opinion, the ending makes the story, and the movie sticks pretty closely to the book.</description>
