Just had a chance to read your review and it's a fine piece of writing, indeed, enough to make me see some thematic things I may have been overlooking (I like the analysis of the "I didn't do anything" line).

Reading some of the better reviews, such as this one, has definitely raised this film's quality for me personally (you know my feelings on how it affected me -- feeling which I'm curious to find out if they change or not), and I'm now thinking this movie may have a lifespan similar to BARTON FINK, where I end up appreciating it more later on down the line, with repeat viewings in tow.
